presidential campaign issues The presidential campaign issues this year are complex, to say the very least. The country, even the world, is mired in food shortages, high fuel costs, and everyone is looking for a solution to the difficulties that we are facing. Any candidate who can address these serious presidential campaign issues with workable solutions should be the candidate of choice, but how they approach solving some of these global problems is yet to be seen. The high cost of energy is begging for solutions, but until the Middle East is stabilized and we find ways to generate alternative, renewable energy on a massive basis, we will be stuck paying ridiculous amounts for oil.

Oil is basically the driver behind all our current problems. If it were not for the high cost of oil, there would be far fewer food shortages and it would be less expensive. In my book, the candidate who can put forth the most comprehensive solution to the presidential campaign issues that address increasing the supply of renewable energy has my vote. We should have been looking at this years ago, instead of waiting for the present world-wide crisis to materialize.
