Hillary Rodham Clinton Set to End Her Bid |

According to an article in the New York Times, Hillary Rodham Clinton plans to concede defeat on June 7 and endorse Senator Barack Obama. Though I think the United States would perhaps have been in a better position with Hillary Clinton for President, I still think she has made the right move. Senator Barack Obama won fair and square, and the American political system is supposed to be a democratic one. It is time for Hillary Rodham Clinton to end her bid gracefully, and this is apparently what she plans to do. By doing this, the Democratic party can unify and focus its attention on winning. I hope Barack Obama wins this coming November. It would be wonderful to see a black man run this country. Besides, I don’t think the country needs another Republican president at this particular time. However, a part of me feels disappointed that Hillary Rodham Clinton is out of the race. Her losing is a kick in the face for feminists. When will the United States be ready for a female to lead?
