Hillary Clinton for president is a slogan not many informed people are going to be chanting anymore. Since the Clinton vs Obama battle seems over, Hillary thinks it is time to put down the gloves and move over to her once democratic opponents side. Hillary Rodham Clinton told New York lawmakers that she is open to the idea of becoming Barack’s running mate but people like me and Jimmy Carter feel that this will not happen or work.

She is calling it a Unity Ticket, which is code for her last chance to gain entrance to the White House with a title other than first lady. The problem with the Hillary Clinton campaign moving to gain the democratic VP ticket is that too many people who like Obama do not support Hilary. Having her on his team is like presidential suicide. With the margin between Obama and McCain so close, we as a country cannot risk Hillary Rodham Clinton suicide. So thanks for the offer Hillary but I think Obama is strong enough on his own for the moment.
