hillary rodham clintonThe chance that we will have Hillary Rodham Clinton for president this coming fall now seems rather slim. However, Hillary still refuses to give up the Clinton vs. Obama fight. During a recent visit to a Kentucky distillery, Hillary Rodham Clinton politely told those who dislike her to stick their opinions where the sun doesn’t shine. She slammed TV pundits who claim she should just give up, saying that they were the people who had health care and could afford to send their kids to college or pay ridiculously high prices at the gas pump. Regardless of your personal opinion of Hillary Rodham Clinton, you have to admire her tenacity. Personally I respect anybody who has the guts to keep going against the odds, even though I may not like them. Though she may not win in the end, at least Hillary will be able to say with all sincerity that she put up a good fight. Hillary Rodham Clinton is a woman with great intelligence and spirit. Given the grave problems the United States faces today and the tired despondent mood of the American people, I think this country needs a leader with the kind of courage and strength as Hillary Rodham Clinton. Sadly I don’t think Obama or McCain are made of the same strong mettle.
